Guillaume Néry (born 11 July 1982) is a French free-diver specialised in Constant Weight free-diving.

He broke the world record in 2002 at -87 meters in the Villefranche-sur-Mer harbour, in Alpes-Maritimes, France. Then, in 2004, he pushed the record to -96 meters in Saint-Leu, la Réunion. On September 6, 2006, he broke the record again at -109 meters in Nice (this record was subsequently broken by Herbert Nitsch at -112 meters in November 2007).

  1. Oh I *LOVE* that movie!!! Rare that I like a guy in a mustache but
    Michael Biehn (one of Cameron’s favourite actors at the time) did it for me 🙂 I even thought the nerdy guy “Hippy” (Todd Graff) was cute in an adorkable way. Personally I’ve never been a fan of Ed Harris — yes, he’s a fine actor, was brilliant in Pollock, has a great chest & everything, but I’m way shallow when it comes to scalps 😛 I’ve never developed a taste for bald men. Women def love him tho.

    I wish Cameron had stuck to scifi films. Terminator, Aliens, the Abyss, and Avatar are all great. Titanic was an insult on 30,000 levels. And he was such a smug prick at the oscars. Blecchhh.
