The East End

I spent Sunday at my brother and his girlfriend’s place in East London. Other family came over too and we went out for lunch and a walk through Columbia Flower Market, Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane, Whitechapel, etc.

The East End – such a vibrant area. Gritty, colourful, exceptionally diverse. Now very trendy indeed. Quite different to where I live which is rather conservative (though quite ‘wedding cakey’) in comparison. A few photos snapped on the iPhone, below. I’ll definitely be going back with my proper camera sometime soon.

Squirrel graffiti. Not a great photo as I couldn’t get it all in.
