That 1920s look

I wish women wore hats the way they did in the 1920s and 1930s. I don’t know what it is, exactly. Sure, men’s hats are OK too. But it’s not the same; they’re not as interesting; they don’t evoke the age in quite the same way.

There is something wonderful about a woman in a hat.

  1. I love hats, they just look wrong on me! My mother could wear anything on her head and it would look good, she has that perfect shape to her head…The hats of the 20’s and 30’s and to some extent the forties up to the end of the war had a certain something. A pure couture feeling that has never been captured by modern millinery.
