Street photography – New York

The most perfect day weather-wise. Dark blues skies. A few wispy clouds. About 15c.

I left about 10am and got home about 3pm. Having taken the subway from Midtown through to Brooklyn High Street, I then walked around DUMBO, then over the Manhattan Bridge – arriving into Chinatown, then up through Little Italy, NoHo, Union Square, Nomad, and then into Midtown. Distance-wise this is more than 5.5 miles.

So much to see. Snapped a few pics on the way. I can’t claim much prowess in ‘street photography’: – I literally just hold the camera against my body and press the shutter.

Anyway, it was a great day to be out on the streets of New York, camera in hand. I took many more pics but these are the ‘people’ ones.
